Background

The Cronulla Sutherland Water Polo Club was ranked by Fox Sports as one of the most successful sporting clubs in Australian & New Zealand history, with more than 27 Olympians playing for our club.

Each year, we have a women's and a men's team play in the highest competition Australia- the Australian Water Polo League. 

Entry fees for these two teams are over $90,000 per year which makes it an extremely challenging commitment, especially since our players are also studying or building their own careers.

The GREAT RUBBER DUCK RACE is an exciting event designed to bring our community together & support our elite athletes, while giving our supporters the chance to win BIG. 

How does it work?

• We have 1000 rubber ducks numbered 1-1000
• People 'buy' these ducks- $10 gets you 1 number
• We race the ducks with the tide at Gunnamatta Bay
• The first duck to cross the line, gets nothing!
• The second duck to cross the line wins $1,000
• The third duck to cross the line wins $500
• The fourth duck to cross the line wins $250

You can buy as many ducks as you like, all proceeds go to reducing the fees expected of our players.
