Registration - Summer 2024/25

We know you want to get straight to it, but please read all information carefully.

Summer 2024/25 Fees

The Club is acutely aware of the rising cost of living impacting our community. Because of this, we have always endeavoured to keep membership fees as low as possible whilst still providing value for money. We are happy to announce that this season's player fees are relatively in line with the previous season. 

What rego fees cover: Member registration with Water Polo Australia, Water Polo NSW and Cronulla Water Polo, insurance coverage, new Club cossies, coaching and refereeing, Summer metro competition entry fees, club and team equipment (eg balls, caps, goals, scoreboards, game day items), pool hire for training and games, and club overheads (eg accounting, software, insurance, repairs & maintenance).

What rego fees do not cover: Pool entry for games or training, costs for State, AYC and other tournaments, event tickets (eg Presentation Night), Winter competition, club uniform items (other than cossies).

All fees are required to be paid at the time of registration via PIN Payments method. Direct deposits to the club bank account will not be accepted.

Registration comprises 3 (or 4) fee amounts: 

  • Water Polo Australia fees: will appear on your invoice as Platinum Adult, Platiunum Junior, Gold or Bronze Volunteer
  • Water Polo NSW fees: will appear on your invoice as Metro Senior, Metro Junior, Referee Only or WPNSW Supporter
  • Cronulla Water Polo fees: will appear on your invoice based on the selected payment category
  • Additional fees: Grade add-on & merchandise bundle (if selected at the point of registration)
 

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available to members wishing to pay their registration fees over two instalments.

To sign up for a Payment Plan, select the Payment Plan option when registering. You will be required to pay an amount at the time of registration which covers mandatory affiliation costs as well as a portion of the Cronulla registration fee. 

The balance of the payment plan, which includes a $40 administration fee will be invoiced on 15/11/2024. Payment in full is due by 30/11/2024.

Active Kids Vouchers

Active Kids Vouchers can be claimed at the point of registration by entering your AKV number into the field provided. If you have any issues, please contact the club for assistance.

Team Selections

Team selections will be completed by coaches based on attendance to team trials and final registration numbers, prior to the competition start date. Coaches are entitled and supported to rotate players between A & B teams or across Grades per WPNSW competition rules. 

 

Competition Dates 

Division 1: 5th October - 7th December and 1st February - 29th March
Division 2: 22nd/23rd October - 10th/11th December and 28th/29th January - 1st/2nd April
Juniors: 13th October - 8th December and 2nd February - 30th March

Club Uniform

Registration for players this season includes new club cossies. Size requests will be captured at the time of registration. 

For new players, a merchandise bundle including a club polo and backpack is available as an 'add-on' at the time of registration.

Parent Registration

As a requirement of both Water Polo NSW and Water Polo Australia, at least one parent or guardian must register as a Supporter/Official ($0) with the club.

This enables us to 'link' your accounts and is in line with child protection best practice, ensuring we provide a safe playing environment for our junior players.

We also encourage other friends and family to register as a Supporter/Official to stay up to date with all the latest news and events.
