Before registering, please read the information below carefully.

Important Update for 2026/27

Registration fees have increased by $20 across all membership categories for the 2026/27 Summer season.

This increase is necessary due to rising operating costs, particularly:

• Individual membership fees charged by Water Polo NSW and Water Polo Australia
• Competition team entry fees
• Competition referee levies
• Pool hire costs

The club portion of the playing fee has increased below inflation, and the club has worked hard to minimise the impact on members while continuing to provide quality coaching, facilities, equipment and competition opportunities.

What your Registration Fees Cover

• Water Polo Australia and Water Polo NSW membership (~20%)
• Refereeing and coaching (~20%)
• Competition entry fees (~15%)
• Pool hire for training and games (~15%)
• Team and club equipment (balls, caps, goals, scoreboards and game day equipment) (~10%)
• Club programs and development (~10%)
• Club administration, insurance, software and operational costs (~10%)

As a not-for-profit club, 100% of any surplus funds are reinvested back into Cronulla Water Polo and our members.

• Individual pool entry fees
• Club uniforms and apparel
• State, AYC and other external tournaments
• Club events and presentation night tickets
• Winter competition fees

Key Things to Know

• Payment is required at the point of registration.
• No Pay, No Play applies to all members
• Payment plans are available for Summer registrations (2 x quarterly instalments)
• Active Kids Vouchers can be applied during registration
• Players with outstanding fees from previous seasons will not be eligible to play until outstanding balances are paid
• Junior player registrations require at least one parent or guardian to register as a Supporter/Official ($0)

Registration Fees

Your registration invoice will include up to four line items:

1. Water Polo Australia Membership Fee (set by WPA)
2. Water Polo NSW Membership Fee (set by WPNSW)
3. Cronulla Water Polo Membership Fee (based on your playing category)
4. Grade Add-On (for Junior Players also playing Grade)

Help Keep Registrations Affordable

When registering, members have the option to make a tax-deductible donation through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF).

These donations play an important role in helping keep registration costs down for all members.

• The more members donate, the lower we can keep registration fees
• Donations are tax-deductible
• Donations support equipment purchases, facility improvements, education programs and our member hardship fund
• By donating, you're helping ensure water polo remains accessible and affordable for our entire community

Not Sure Which Membership Category To Select?

• Junior = Born 2009 or later
• Senior = Born 2008 or earlier

Junior Playing Membership categories

• Junior: Academy - Metro players competing in U14, U16, or U18 competitions
• Junior: Foundation - Metro players competing in U12 competition
• Junior: PAYG Tournaments - Non-metro players competing in external tournaments only (eg Waterpolooza, Big Orange)
• Junior: Trial Only (Temporary Membership) - 14-day free trial for prospective metro players to cover membership & insurance during team selections. (Players will be 'upgraded' to their relevant membership category upon selection).

Note - Grade: Players competing in both Academy & Grade competitions must also select the Grade Add-On during registration.

Note - Tournaments: State, AYC and other external tournaments (eg Canberra Cup, Asia Pacific, Waterpalooza) will require a separate registration via "Events". Details for each tournament will be shared closer to the events.

Senior Playing Membership categories

• Senior: SSL / Grade 2 - Senior Metro player competing in Sydney Super League or M2 / W2 as primary team
• Senior: Grade 3 - Senior Metro player competing in M3 / W3 as primary team
• Senior: Grade 4-6 - Senior Metro player competing in Div 2 on Tuesday/Wednesday nights
• Senior: Trial Only (Temporary Membership) - 14-day free trial for prospective metro players to cover membership & insurance during team selections (Players will be 'upgraded' to their relevant membership category upon selection)
• Life Member (Playing) - Playing Life Members of CSWPC (These members have been invoiced by the club)

Note - SSL fees have reduced this season due to the shortened season set by WPNSW.

Non-Playing Membership categories

• Supporter/Official - Free membership for non-playing parents, guardians, friends, family & table officials
• Coach - Non-playing coaches only. Please email the club for reimbursement of the Water Polo Australia coach fee
• Referee - Non-playing referees only
• Life Member (Non-Playing) - Non-playing Life Members of CSWPC
